WiFi 7 Spectrum Conflict takes control of PS5 Pro in India
The PS5 Pro supports WiFi 7, which works in the 6GHz frequency band. While many countries have allowed this band for home broadband, there is controversy over the availability of 6GHz spectrum in India. Represented by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), which includes Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, major telecom operators are advocating that this band be reserved for mobile internet technologies like 5G, not home broadband coverage will be used.
